| Jungle Cruise Song |

Nobody would believe me if I told them I had been writing a song about the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. I was hopeful when the title of Weird Al's song came to light. I thought "Nah, it couldn't be about the Disneyland Jungle Cruise, of all things". Then I heard the song, Skipper Dan. I absolutely love it! I think it is my favorite Weird Al song. But now what do I do with mine? Even though mine centers around a completely different story, some of the references are the same. People would think I'm just ripping off Weird Al. Oh well, that's what I get for procrastinating on getting this song finished. It's probably best that I just scrap it and start on something else. |

| Another corporate video |

This time I got to create a video for Sony Ericson. The ad campaign is "Bringing Purple Back". I like the way it turned out. I only had five days to create it, from concept to finished product. Hopefully I'll get the chance to create some more corporate stuff like this in the future. It forces me to really get the creativity going. A few days back I was contacted by the PR firm that represents Klondike Bar. They saw my TurboTax video on YouTube and asked if I'd come up with an idea and video for the Klondike Bar website. The written concept that I sent them has been approved, and now I am working on the song and video. More info to come... |

Today I went to the grocery store to pick up some Mexico imported Coca-Cola made with real cane sugar, making it much more delicious than the American crap.
Anyway, I just so happened to walk in to the store at exactly the same moment as Gary Coleman. For some reason he wasn't nearly as interested in me as I was him . I wanted to talk to him, but he was understandably trying to get in and out quickly. I was wanting to ask him what I would need to do to have him appear in one of my future music vids. Maybe next time, eh? |

My 2 year old, Andrew, just notified my wife and me that he sent some raccoons to his room because they were peeing and spitting on him. If only I had that kind of excitement in my life! |

| New Year's Eve |

I spent a portion of my New Year's Eve in.... The emergency room! I wasn't the one being treated, but rather my son. Luckily we were there at about 8:30 PM, early enough to avoid the drunken white trash that was sure to be making a their visits later that night. We were at my uncle's house for a little family party. My two year old son was playing on the floor, and I bent over to pick him up. I must have grabbed his arm the wrong way, because he cried out with pain. I figured his elbow had probably come out of socket, just as mine used to in my younger years. So, after calling the several instacare facilities (which would have been much cheaper than the ER) and finding out they were all closed on New Year's Eve, we got in the car and went to the ER. The doctor took my son's arm, positioned it in a certain way, and bent his arm at the elbow. Such a simple procedure, but certainly not cheap.

I was buckling my 2 year old son in his car seat yesterday as I was singing the 'Bob The Builder' theme song and changing the words. My son interupts and says to me "Sing about butts!" I had to laugh. |

| Mr. Pibb? Pibb Extra? |

My favorite soft drink is Dr. Pepper, and when that's not available I go for the similar tasting soft drink produced by the Coca-Cola company.
It's been several years since since Mr. Pibb underwent a name change to the name it's now known by, Pibb Extra. Am I the only person that feels like a dork at the drive-thru window asking for a "Pibb Extra"? I feel more comfortable asking for a Mr. Pibb, so that's how I usually order. However, I'm afraid that one of these days some one is going to call me on it, and that will make me feel like a dork. I just can't win. |

| The folks at Wal-Mart Pt.1 |

Out of convenience (and due to the fact that I like to support evil corporate empires) I often do my shopping at the local Wal-Mart Super Center. I enjoy doing so because the variety of people I see there never ceases to amaze me. Among my favorite of the white trash consumers are the ones that ride the motorized scooter with the basket attached. I'm not talking about the elderly or crippled people who legitimately require the use of such a device. I'm talking about the obese. More often than not, these are the people utilizing these motorized scooters. It seems to me that these are the people that should be walking, not just because it's healthier for them, but more importantly because it's one less scooter I have to try to maneuver around. |
